Operator's rate pageOverview
Gulfport is a city on the north shore of Boca Ciega Bay, opposite Mile 116.0 of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. The city runs the marina and, south of the Gulfport Casino, Williams Pier and Municipal Beach, a mooring field with 25 moorings available year round.
The marina has transient berths, a ship store, a fuel dock and a boat ramp. The harbormaster is on (727) 893-1104; the Coast Pilot gives the marina itself as (727) 893-1071.
How many slips? The city publishes two numbers
The city's marina page gives two counts for the same basin. The running text says the basin, enclosed with a concrete seawall, provides 192 wet slips open to the public. The list of amenities and services further down the same page says 250 wet slips.
Both figures are the city's own, on one page, and this guide does not decide between them. If the difference matters to you – for a slip rather than a mooring – the harbormaster is on (727) 893-1104.
Getting in
A privately marked 035° lighted range and daybeacons mark the dredged cut leading into Clam Bayou and the marina. The Coast Pilot's depths are old: 6 feet in the channel and 5 feet in the basin, both reported in 2006. They are soundings in a dredged cut, and neither of them says what is there now.
A no wake speed limit is enforced in the basin.
The mooring field
25 mooring locations are available year round, south of the Gulfport Casino, Williams Pier and Municipal Beach. Online reservations through Dockwa are required; there are no walk-ups. A long-term stay, up to the six-month maximum, takes a one-month deposit.
The mooring rate includes the pump-out vessel that works the field, the dinghy dock, the laundry, the day room and library, mail service and the showers at the ship store. The permits for the field were granted by the Pinellas County Water and Navigation Control Authority, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
What it costs
A mooring is $25.00 a day, $151.00 a week or $377.00 a month, in each case plus applicable sales tax. The boat ramp is $10.00 a day.
The city puts no effective date on any of these prices, and neither does its slip rate sheet. They are therefore not dated here either: they are the prices as the city published them on 22 October 2026, which is the day this page was checked. What they were before that, and what they will be next season, this page does not claim to know.
Ashore
The ship store is open seven days a week, 363 days a year – Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17:00 all year, Friday to Sunday and holidays 7:00 to 17:30 in winter and 7:00 to 18:30 in summer. It sells mid-grade gasoline and dyed diesel from two fuelling stations at a floating fuel dock 140 ft long.
Two public pump-out stations stand beside the fuel dock, there are two restroom facilities with showers, potable water at the marina and free internet for marina patrons and guest docking. The boat ramp has 70 trailer parking spaces, and the marina has 25 dry boat storage spaces.

Good to know
- No walk-ups: online reservations through Dockwa are required for a mooring, and a long-term stay takes a one-month deposit.
- Prices are undated: neither the marina page nor the rate sheet carries an effective date, so the figures here are the ones the city published on 22 October 2026 and nothing more.
- Included in a mooring: pump-out vessel, dinghy dock, laundry, day room and library, and mail service.
- Two phone numbers: (727) 893-1104 reaches the marina director and harbormaster; the Coast Pilot gives (727) 893-1071 for the marina.
Rules that apply here
- Six months: the longest stay on a mooring is six months, and that long-term booking requires a one-month deposit.
- No wake: a no wake speed limit is enforced in the basin.

The Coast Pilot reports 6 feet in the channel and 5 feet in the basin, both from 2006. Those are soundings from 2006 in a dredged cut – check the current chart and ask the harbormaster.
