What is open and what is not
The Clearwater Beach Marina docks are in an extensive renovation. The city's marina page says there are no transient or day docks available, and that the new fuel dock is not operational, with a temporary fuel dock being installed.
Most of Phase 1 of the work is complete. Tourism boating operations are now in their new slips along Coronado Drive; the fishing fleet and the dinner boats are in temporary locations along the floating docks. There is less parking in the marina lot while the work runs.
Two answers about transient slips
The marina's own page says there are no transient or day docks available at this marina. The city's marina fee sheet, effective 1 October 2026, nonetheless carries a section of transient slip rates and information for Clearwater Beach Marina.
Both documents belong to the City of Clearwater, and this guide does not decide which of them describes today. Before planning a stop, call (727) 562-4955, option 2, and ask for this marina by name – the answer you get on the telephone is worth more than either page.
When the work is to finish: the city gives two dates
The city's project page says in its running text that the project is expected to be fully completed in August 2026. The same page heads itself with a project schedule of Fall 2024 to October 2026 and lists October 2026 as Substantial Completion.
Both dates are on the one page, and neither has been struck through. Construction started in September 2024; the city gives Helene and Milton, and material delivery and fabrication delays, as the reasons the schedule moved. This page shows both dates because the city publishes both.
What the rebuild is to leave behind
The city says the marina keeps the same slip count and a balanced slip mix, with two boat slips provided for the water taxi. Fixed docks and gangway access platforms are being raised 15 to 24 inches to accommodate rising water levels.

Questions
Can I take a transient slip at Clearwater Beach Marina?
The marina's own page says there are no transient or day docks available while the docks are being rebuilt. The city's fee sheet of 1 October 2026 still lists transient rates for this marina. Both are the city's own words, so call (727) 562-4955, option 2, before you count on a berth.
When will the rebuild be finished?
The city's project page gives two dates: fully completed in August 2026 in its running text, and October 2026 as substantial completion and as the end of the project schedule. We show both, because the city publishes both.
Is there fuel?
Not at the new fuel dock, which is not operational. A temporary fuel dock is being installed.
What will the marina look like afterwards?
The city says the same slip count and slip mix, two slips for the water taxi, and fixed docks and gangway platforms raised 15 to 24 inches for rising water levels.
