Operator's rate pageOverview
Roland Martin Marina & Resort is the transient dockage at Clewiston, on the southwest side of Lake Okeechobee. Coast Pilot 4 puts Clewiston at Mile 65.0 via Route 1 across the open lake and Mile 75.7 via Route 2 along the rim, and says the two routes combine into one here – which makes this the natural stop whichever way a boat has crossed.
The marina has 600 feet of linear floating dock and 11 individual slips, and takes boats up to 125 feet. It monitors channels 16 and 68 VHF and answers on 863-983-3151. There is a fuel dock with gasoline and diesel, 30 A and 50 A hookups, showers, laundry and free Wi-Fi, with breakfast and lunch at the Galley Grill and the Tiki Bar restaurant ashore.
Rates, and the discount that is not one
Transient dockage for boats over 21 feet is $3 per foot per night. The same page then lists Boat US and Marina Life members at $3.25 per foot per night and calls it a discount – although it is the higher of the two rates, printed directly below the standard one. We show both lines as the marina publishes them and do not guess which it means. Ask on 863-983-3151 before you arrive.
Fuel carries a stated discount that does work the usual way: 10 cents off per gallon on a purchase of 100 gallons or more. The marina notes that rates are subject to change, and takes bookings online or by telephone.
Clewiston itself
Coast Pilot 4 describes a town with several hotels, motels, restaurants and a shopping district, and puts the area offices and general headquarters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the east side of the canal at the east side of town – the people who run the five locks.
The hurricane gate at Clewiston is fitted with a lock that allows small craft into the Clewiston Industrial Canal. Dock space is available along the bulkhead there, but the Coast Pilot's last reading alongside it is 3 feet, reported in 2008. Government-owned tie-up dolphins stand immediately west of the entrance to that canal.

Good to know
- Where the two lake routes meet. Coast Pilot 4: Routes 1 and 2 combine into one route at Clewiston. West of here the mileage is based on Route 1.
- The member rate is higher than the standard rate. The marina's page lists $3 per foot for boats over 21 feet and $3.25 per foot for Boat US and Marina Life members, calling the second a discount. Both lines are on the page; we print both.
- The Corps is in town. The area offices and general headquarters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are on the east side of the canal at the east side of town – useful if a lock question needs a person.
- The Industrial Canal bulkhead reads shallow. Coast Pilot 4 reports 3 feet alongside the Clewiston Industrial Canal bulkhead south of the levee, reported in 2008. That is a separate berth from the marina.
