Coast Pilot 4, under the heading “Heights”: “Overhead clearances on the St. Lucie Canal from St. Lucie Lock to Port Mayaca Lock are referred to a St. Lucie Canal stage of 14.5 feet.” This bridge stands below St. Lucie Lock, Mile 15.1, so that range does not reach it, and the chapter gives no datum of its own.
Mean high water
Coast Pilot 4 chapter 1: “Vertical clearances of bridges and overhead cables are in feet above mean high water unless otherwise stated.” Chapter 12 states nothing otherwise for this bridge.
